Robotics With Ms Chowfin

This Term we explored the world of robots, 3 of the main robots we used and redesigned were Sphero, Edison and Ozobot. We also learned and explored mars, and if we could design a machine that is capable of living on mars. Some of the smaller things I learnt about mars are:

A Year on mars is almost 2 years on earth.

It would take the size of 6 mars to be the size of earth.
Mars is the fourth planet from the sun.
Mars has about one tenth of the mass of earth.
You way ¾ of the size on mars than you do on earth.
There is 62.5 less gravity on mars than there is on earth.
Mars is 20% Hotter than it is on earth

We also were learning if we could design and program our own robots. We research and come up with different ways that we could redesign the robots we choose. You could decide out of Sphero, Edison and Ozobot. Kaia and I went with the Sphero as it was easier to program and we found many ways of redesigning this robot. I had 2 main resources for this task, to find out whether or not our design would service on Mars or would it not. A bit about Robots:

A Piece of Machinery able to carry out a series of complex tasks, actions, that even humans these day struggle with they can do them automatically, especially one programmable by a a computer or other technology.

A machine resembling a human or other living creature and is able to replicate certain Human or Creatures movements and functions automatically.

Kaia and I didn't end up finishing this Task as we started to late in the term because out original robot was the Edison but none of them were working for us so we went for the Shpero.
