Mg + O 2 = Mg 0xide Mg + O Mg Oxide Silver/Grey Solid + Transparent colourless gas I observed: As I put the piece of Magnesium on top of the Bunsen burner it took a moment for it to work but then it started to smoke and a bright flash came up and the piece disintegrated into a white powder. Robotics With Ms Chowfin This Term we explored the world of robots, 3 of the main robots we used and redesigned were Sphero, Edison and Ozobot. We also learned and explored mars, and if we could design a machine that is capable of living on mars. Some of the smaller things I learnt about mars are: A Year on mars is almost 2 years on earth. It would take the size of 6 mars to be the size of earth. Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. Mars has about one tenth of the mass of earth. You way ¾ of the size on mars than you do on earth. There is 62.5 less gravity on mars than there is on earth. Mars is 20% Hotter than it is on earth We also were learning if we could design and program our own robots. We research and come up with different ways that we could redesign the robots we choose. You could decide out of Sphero, Edison and Ozobot.
